What is the difference between Acrylic, Perspex™ & Plexiglas™?
Absolutely nothing..... Perspex™ and Plexiglas™ are simply tradenames for acrylic. Just like Hoover™ is to a vacuum cleaner.
 
 
Can I use acrylic in my kitchen for splashbacks?

Yes.... Acrylic will look fantastic in a kitchen or bathroom and we have supplied many customers with this exact application in mind. Please note however that we do not advise the use of acrylic behind cookers or hobs.

 
 
Will acrylic go yellow over time?
This is a common misunderstanding due to a confusion between the different types of plastics available on the market. Other plastics like styrene, petg and polycarbonate do go yellow over time.
 
 
I have a bespoke item in mind, can you help?
Yes.... This is our speciality area and we welcome customers who wish to discuss their custom item. Usually we will request a drawing or sketch however if you do not have one, not to worry, one of our technical staff will do their best to understand your needs. Whilst we believe our online prices are competitive, we are aware that some customers require higher volumes or continuous purchases. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

What are your cutting tolerances?
our cutting tolerance is generally +/- 1mm. for more accurate cutting, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
